Failsworth Training is a construction skills training centre in Manchester who offer courses on most building skills including dumper truck training, telescopic handling and mobile plant training. This course is approved by the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) and the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS), which complies with the Health and Safety at work act 1974 and all other regulations regarding operator training. The course is available at our training centre or on site and there is a limit of four candidates per course. The course duration is twenty one hours over three days and candidates must complete a practical test and a theory paper and successful candidates will be entered into the NPORS and CPCS scheme.
The outcome of the course will have the candidate versed in all procedures including the effective discharge of loads into trenches and or over ledges, dumper positioning and all health and safety checks. The dumper truck course in Manchester is a three days course with a total of twenty one hours of study so if you are going for on site training make sure you allocate enough time, so the course doesn’t interfere with work.
