Failsworth Training Services Ltd was established in June 1989 by the present Managing Director, Colin Winward, primarily as an RTITB Lift Truck training provider.

The company became NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) accredited in 1992 and finally CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) accredited in 2003 specialising in on site plant training.

We opened our training centre in March 2006 so that we could offer our services to candidates with no access to mobile plant.

The training centre is managed by our Senior Instructor, Mr. Phil O’Brien, who has worked within the mobile plant industry for all of his working life, including a period as a JCB demonstrator

Mr. O’Brien has a vast knowledge of mobile plant and is well respected within the construction industry.
